NANOCORE PANELS
Nanocore® are sturdy constructional elements, based on an innovative core structure with two films, deep-drawn to be welded together at pyramidal or cone segments. With great strength and providing minimal weight, this geometry is designed for high shearing load, at large areas glued to skins of high tensile strength and buckling resistance, provides toughness at minimal weight. Rod-Bracing Walls Even wiring through electricity, rod- bracing decks and wings, or quickly building up walls without visible posts is easily possible. |

Corners are most simply made with only one skin cut, reversebending and insertion of a fitting profile -that may be braced with screws to inserted dowel pofiles, if required (seen at left) or by cutting out a few sections on the inner side to bend a corner with continuous wood (or other surface) pattern. Corners unbreaking Pattern Moreover, the open and resilient core structure allows direct insertion of fixtures and snapping in edge profiles.

| NANOCORE®RAWCORE
This is the single core structure for industry. It can be provided with approximately 6 mm (1/4”) width for 9-10 mm (3/8”) thickness, standard is 10 mm (3/8”) for 16 mm (5/8”) and 16 (5/8”) for 25 mm (1”) gauge - and all thinkable combinations. These cores usually are made of 0.5 to 0.9 mm (1/32”) Polystyrene or ABS recyclates, and can be fire protected to European standard B1 (DIN 4102/1), as well as primed for all commonly known glues, adhesives and resins - but is not recommended for hot-pressing at more than 70°C.
Can be made from ABS, PET-G, Polycarbonate, PP, PVC. Can be made with a fire rating, bio-degradable, wiring can be fed through the core

| NANOCORE®ALU
A core structure as before with skins of 0.5 mm hard Aluminium (AlMg3 F29)makes a rigid panel. It inherits a bending and tensile strength almost comparable to solid Aluminium and is not only less than half of it in weight, but offers thermal isolation, while it substantially reduces vibration and sound transmission. This material is ductile at 80°C to be bent or trundled, otherwise riveted and screwed directly, thus being suitable for vehicle bodywork, boat- and shipbuilding. Cutting it is quite easy with all kinds of saws.
Can be made from ABS, PET-G, Polycarbonate, PP, PVC. Can be made with a fire rating, bio-degradable, wiring can be fed through the core

|
| NANOCORE®CASING
Made with massive skins of polystyrene films, Nanocore are well suited for concrete casing on steel or aluminium frames without formwork release oil, since concrete does not stick to it. Dead molding or combination as water barrier proposes applications in civil- and hydraulic engineering. Nanocore-Casing is as well suited for exhibition booths, kitchen- and bathroom fitting etc. and is recyclable in mono-fraction.
Can be made from ABS, PET-G, Polycarbonate, PP, PVC. Can be made with a fire rating, bio-degradable, wiring can be fed through the core

| NANOCORE®LAMINATE
For Industrial furniture production, in particular countertops, occasional- and garden furniture, but also for exposition architecture and shopfitting, this type of panel, having two skins of massive HPL and a core of flame-retardent ABS, is a perfect choice. Since cutting requires professional machinery anyway, thicker facings (as MDF or HDF) are as well applicable and so traditional edging techniques can be applied - even then at substantially reduced weight. Nanocore-Laminate is available in many of decors, or can be made to order with customer-supplied facings. Nanocore-Longlast may be processed with self-sharpening octagon-bladecutters (e.g. Bosch’s Xedo) or industrial jet cutters. Trimming with saws or blades would be dulling them on short term.
Can be made from ABS, PET-G, Polycarbonate, PP, PVC. Can be made with a fire rating, bio-degradable, wiring can be fed through the core

| NANOCORE®GRP
Wherever low weight of panels need to be matched to conditions of high pressure load, vibration and abrasion, Nanocore®Longlast is the best choice. Featuring skins of GRP (glass fabric with epoxy matrices +PU-primer) it offers skid-freee surfaces with high abrasion and UV-protection. Depending on thickness of core structure and skins (between 0,2 and 1.2 mm GRP), pressure resistance can be achieved up to 3 N/mm2 and bending strength of 6000 N/mm2 at a grammage of 4 kg/m2 Applications may be concrete sheeting on aluminium frames, which then can be handled manually without cranes, but also for scaffolding panels, bulkheads and cabin construction in boats and ships. Other applications are for civil engineering, truck superstructure and reservoir construction.
Can be made from ABS, PET-G, Polycarbonate, PP, PVC. Can be made with a fire rating, bio-degradable, wiring can be fed through the core

|
| NANOCORE®CLEAR
Wherever otherwise textured glass or clear plastics would be applied, Nanocore®Clear might be a good alternative with much less weight, no risk of breaking and splinters, good thermal and acoustical isolation and quite low cost. Cores are made of high-grade PET-G, the decks as well (fairly UVresistant by nature), Nanocore®Clear is thermo plastic to some extent and can be recycled as mono-fraction. It may well be applied on door fills, particularly for lightweight sliding doors, shower partitions, furniture design and other indoor applications. For longtime outdoor applications a version with scratch and mar resistant PMMA and a special UV-barrier is recommended for skylights, greenhouses and winter gardens, carports and balustrades. Nanocore®-Plywood For easy, but conventional processing Nanocore are offered with decks of 3-ply Paulowina or Okumé /Poplar plywood of 2.7 mm on both sides - top-layer of good peeled, or fancy veneer (grain lengthwise), or rotarycut B-grade (grain direction square) for further veneering. High Density Fiberboard can as well be offered, but is heavier.
Can be made from ABS, PET-G, Polycarbonate, PP, PVC. Can be made with a fire rating, bio-degradable, wiring can be fed through the core

NANOCORE®FILL
For particular applications and demand, e.g. for high thermal or acoustical isolation or fire proofing, the pits and -with sealed edges - even the central voids can be filled with a multitude of materials, as ultralight aerogels, quartz sand, or water glass. In combination with different kinds of skins therefore almost all kinds of specifications can be met: doors, acoustic constructions (like machine housings), partitions and bulkheads in passenger vessels and railroad, etc.
Can be made from ABS, PET-G, Polycarbonate, PP, PVC. Can be made with a fire rating, bio-degradable. |
